Well our new website is finally here, and with it comes our first, At Your Bark-n-Call (AYBNC) newsletter. April has been full of many first for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the direction that we are heading. We hope all our 2 and 4 legged customers are satisfied right along side of us.
April has been very busy for us with spring break coming to an end the first week of the month and Easter last week. We had a full house on board. The next few weekends are starting to fill up with the promise of beautiful weather starting to appear. If you need to book for boarding through the middle of May, give us a call and reserve your suite before it fills up. With a handful of nice days this month the dogs have been outside in our huge fenced area. We love seeing them so excited to get out in the great wide open and are equally excited to share the beautiful weather with them!
Got BONES? Guess the Number of Treats in the Jar Contest
Our first contest “Guess How many Bones are in the Jar” is still going on, so make sure you take a guess each time you bring our friends for daycare. The winner will be announced on May 1 and receive the jar full of bones and a free day of daycare. Good luck to everyone.
Who was the UnderDOG at Employee Poker Night?
We had our first employee event on April, an Employee Poker Night and dinner. Each participating staff member got to choose one of our furry friends to play for. So, the winner of the poker tournament won $100 and their puppy pal they chose also won $100. Our C.E.O. Donna put on her poker visor and was the dealer for the heated 7 card stud showdown in pen 3. It ended after 10pm and came down to Tyler, one of our evening handlers, who was playing for Winston Critser and Stephanie, our G.M., playing for Violet Phelps. In the end Tyler’s hand beat Stephanie’s hand. Great game and hats off to Tyler and Winston the lab who are each $100 richer.
A TAIL-Twitching Good Time at Our First Easter PAWty
April13 was our first Easter Party and egg hunt. All pups got an Easter gift and the owners received a yummy box of Easter cupcakes, cookies or brownies. We ended up with 4 lucky winners of a free day of daycare: Theo Tomko, Moose DeJesus, Molly Cetera, and Winston Critser. Hopefully you and your doggie pals had as much fun as we did. We enjoy having your family with us at daycare everyday, it’s our way to give back a holiday. Thank you for trusting us to take care of your fur baby.
A Round of A-PAWS for Our First Dog of the Month Contest Winner
April 15,we had the launch of our first Dog of the Month winner. Gertie Muransky, was the winner for the month of April. Congratulations Gertie, she is a sweet little Beagle girl that we enjoy. We surprised her mom at the gas station with our call to inform her of winning, but she was so very happy and loved her Easter basket of fruit and goodies.
PAWsome News-We Have a New Groom Shop Manager
Grooming is back in full force at AYBNC. We have a new groom shop manager Sara Schur,. She brings 16 years’ experience with her, and Jaime Sadowski, our painted lady has been a professional pet stylist for over 20 years. They are excellent professional groomers and we are ecstatic to have them grace our business. Our vision for our grooming salon is to give your precious pet the feel of luxury spa. We are the first salon in NWI to offer an all-inclusive service at every appointment.
